At the page http://www.newyorksteak.com the widgets on the left side have a brown color, which I would like to change. I have tweaked the Primary Widget Area Text Color, the Individual Widgets Text Color and the Widget Links, with no success.
Can someone tell me which element this is?
    Thank you,

All those items are LINKS and not text. There is an option to change the link colors in your widget areas.

I’ve tried changing standard links in the content area, links in the content area, and links in the individual widget link area. I’m sure it’s right in front of my nose, but I can’t find any other links to change.

    The current color  #8a4233
Appears to come from Main Options > Sidebar & Layout > Individual Widgets > Widget Links color box.
What do you have in there right now?
Can you try to type yellow in the Widget link link color box and post back

I put in yellow (#FFFF08) in there now. But it hasn’t changed.

You have apparently added a CSS+ rule for the widget area link color. You set the yellow in the box, but from the output of your style sheet, it seems there also is a value in the CSS+ box.
