On a Page with Posts there are more posts than can be shown on one page, there is the Prev/Next (and page numbers) navigation. Works well.

Except if said Page with Posts is made the home page. The navigation still works, but clicking Prev/Older (or page numbers) doesnt do anything.

I have had to hide the pagination on home pages because of this bug.

I have heard of that in the past an cant remember what the issue was.

    Check a few things

    1) Deactivating ALL non weaver plugins

    2) Resave permalinks (Settings > Permalinks)

    3) make sure you are not using the WP blog page (Settings > Reading > post page set to nothing (showing –select–))

It is something other than the theme. Just to be sure, I made a PwP the home page via the Settings : Reading : Front page displays option, and all works as it should.

Weird. It happens to me in both sites using Weaver X.

@weaver Bruce, can you share a link to your installation so I can test this out and perhaps see what I am doing wrong?

Sorry – it’s a local dev site, and I don’t have any public sites where that feature can be used logically.

Found the culprit: Facebook & Automattic’s official Facebook plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook/

Apperciate the feedback. I’ve noticed that some of Automattic’s plugins sometime seem to assume they are the only plugins anyone uses

Ive tried that plugin on numerous occasions and I’ve got to say its useless.
