    Hi

I am having an issue while using a combo of ‘Header video rendering: as full cover parallax BG video” and fix to top on scroll primary menu.

As the page scrolls the content covers the video header as expected, when the menu sticks to the top the content area is above the menu too as can be seen here: https://www.creativesurge.co.uk

If you compare to a page without a video header such as https://www.creativesurge.co.uk/graphic-design-recommendations.html you can see how the content scrolls under the menu.

So, I am guessing this is a z-index thing whereby the video header is lower in the stack than the content and as the menu is within the header area it is also lower than the content. I have tried to no avail to get the menu above the content, any ideas welcome.

I am afraid there is no solution for that configuration.

In order for the header to be a full parallax, it has to be under everything, and the menu is inside the header, so it will also end up under everything.

The header cannot be both under and over at the same time.

What you may be able to do if you have the Plus plugin, is not use the regular  primary menu, but an extra menu placed inside the post header insertion area or the Container top insertion area.

Then add the class wvrx-scrollfix  in the chosen insertion area class box as explained in the article below to fix the area on scroll

I did suspect that would be your answer. Your workaround sounds like the way forward, thank you for your time.
