Hi.
A friend has asked for help with her website. It appears to be running Weaver II Pro as a child theme.
When I attempt to login at website/wp-login.php I get a “Page not found” error.
I gather from your website that Weaver II Pro and Plus are no longer compatible with current versions of WordPress and PHP. Is this likely to prevent me from logging in?

It is unlikely to be the issue. Are you trying yoursite.com/wp-login.php?
If you don’t have the right password, you should be able to reset it. It is also possible that there is an alternate password plugin which may allow sending a reset password link, but then you’d need access to the mail of the login user. And depending on your host, you might be able to access via the site’s hosting company.
I would highly recommend not using Weaver II any more.

Elderly friend. Stuck with rubbish & expensive hosting. They want £113 for a single SSL cert!
I want to look at migrating her off to somewhere better and cheaper but can’t get in.
I do have full FTP access to the site so plan to download it and see what I can do locally.
Probably has a login plugin to replace the standard login.
Can you get access to the sources on the host?
At worst case, there really isn’t that much content, and you could recreate much of it by looking at the HTML view in the browser, copy the html in the <content> section, and paste that into the HTML editor view, and end up with most of your content. Would have to download the images and re-add them as well. But as long as you can still veiw the site, all is not lost.
