    Hi all! I’m running a WP built site with Weaver Xtreme. I just recently took this domain name into the self-hosted world. But I’m now noticing that all the pages I’ve added to the site since the migration do not have the comment option at the bottom of the page, as do all my other pages. Is this something in the theme that I need to do, or is it something within my WP Dashboard settings? To be honest, I’ve looked everywhere!

    At the bottom of edit page, in discussion there is a tick box for allow comments, make sure thats ticked there must be a setting somewhere to have that ticked as default, also check your discussion settings, are you using any other plugins that allow commenting, such as Facebook or jetpack, there could be a conflict there…

    Display of comments is completely under the control of basic WordPress settings, both in the Settings menu, and for each individual page a Rob described.
