Widget Area for jpeg image

Am I missing something?  It appears there is no way that I can add a jpg image to the sidebar widget area.  I wanted to place an advertisement with a link to my other website.  Not possible?

Just put the image html in a text widget.

This is how you add images to a widget in WordPress with any theme. There are probably plugins that support adding an image to a widget directly, but most people simply use the <img> html directly.

Ahhh, yes, thank you I had forgotten that.   I wish I could find someone to care for my sites that would accept Weaver Xtreme theme so I could also interact with it.  Then I wouldn’t have to take your time asking elementary questions.
