Why can’t I remove search from sitewide top widgets area

I cannot remove ‘Search’ from sitewide top widgets area. 

I can put everything in it and remove it but not de search widget.

???

What widgets are included in any specific widget area is under control of WordPress core funciions, and not related to whatever theme you might be using.

Rather that dragging the widget out of the widget area, try clicking the “Delete” link when you open the widget inside the widget area display on the Widgets admin panel.
