White text on white background in Classic Editor

I know this isn’t technically a theme related question but I didn’t know where else to put it.

I recently did a color scheme change for my website where I’ve changed the text from black to white with a red background (for the Christmas season).

The only problem now is that the font in the editor has changed to white as well. Because it’s set against a white background, it renders the text invisible (unless I highlight it) and makes editing almost impossible.

Does anyone know how to change the font color in the Classic Editors?

Am out at the moment, but does the User setting of Admin Color Scheme help?

Sadly not. It just changes the colours of the admin panel but not the text colour of the editor.

I have no access to any Developer Mode so can’t look more at this.

However, using the “TEXT” tab for editing and the “PREVIEW” tab for checking the appearance after an edit, ought to work, though not quite as easy as the “VISUAL” tab for sure
