I have a page: http://www.singbentleyheath.org.uk/raffle which I use to promote all the donors of raffle prizes for our annual concert. Each donor has a post and I use weaver show post shortcode to filter and select only the current posts for each village.
Members of the public who look at the page only see 4 posts. It doesn’t seem to matter which of the three short codes I put first – they get 4 posts from the first shortcode and thatś your lot. Anyone who is logged in gets to see all the posts (getting on for 50 in total). I have used three different plugins to select the posts and they all do the same thing.
I tried creating a new page which just had two short codes and the same thing and it doesn’t matter whether I use the default template or the ´page with post´. All our posts are set to everyone can view and if it was a post issue, it would move with the filter. As recommended, I created a filter in Weaver show posts so the shortcode [show_posts filter=raffle-dorridge] is very simple. I use the -1 option so that there is no limit to the posts being loaded.
Everything is at the latest version (wordpress, xtreme, WeaverShowPosts etc) and I have also purged the cache and even disabled it. We are using lightspeed cache btw but without the backend module. I have followed all the tips for making posts visible but that has not fixed the problem. I am beginning to feel that there is a magic parameter somwhere right in front of my nose but I cant see it for looking at it!

Before we get too deep into this, can you please confirm that you have tested all plugins for conflicts, by turning them off, but yet still the issue remains?
When I go to that page, I see a list of 3 villages plus an “other” category. I see 7 post links for Dorridge, none for Bentley Heath, and 18 for Knowle.
Is this now working or is there something else I’m missing?
It’s fixed now with a fresh pair of eyes (not mine). Thanks to everyone who sent a message. The problem was that the posts were set to hidden. My Posts view in WP-admin had that field not enabled so I didn’t see that most of the posts were not set to unrestricted. It wasn’t obvious in the block editor as the status was published and readable by everyone. Having found the Post Restriction menu buried at the bottom of the editor page, I changed the status to unrestricted and bingo, they worked. Can’t bulk Action or Quick edit so its edit all 40 by hand. Ho hum – at least its fixed now and I concentrate on the concert!
