Actually the same issue (I think) as in here :
As it is Work In Progress there is no domain (that needs to be transferred), and no certificate yet.
This is how the website looks :

The URL you provided goes to a site using the Blogus WP theme.
Can’t really help much about the difference in looks between the customizer and the “normal” view. It can happen with caching sometimes. Does the normal view look like any design you had before? I does look a bit like one of the pre-defined themes. You do have to save changes from the customizer before exiting. It is very difficult to provide input based on images.
@Weaver, apologies for that, as I didn’t get the Weaver theme to work I played with “Bogus” and forgot to switch it back for you to see. Its on the Weaver theme again.
I’m not sure what is going on.
The CSS generated by the theme certainly does not match the colors from the example you have from the Customizer.
The only suspect I have at the moment is the temporary site URL, which is http://IP-address.
I don’t know if I’ve ever built a site using just the IP address. And the lack of https: vs http: could be a problem.
And to follow up on the Weaver II vs Weave Xtreme possibility.
I don’t remember the final resolution of the previous post as we never heard back from the poster.
Did you do a conversion from Weaver II to Weaver Xtreme?
If you have any other Weaver plugins – like plus or the converter plugin, try disabling them.
First of all thanks for your reply. I will try tomorrow to create a real (sub)domain pointing to that server.
For the previous (German) post, I had a look at the gentleman’s website and it seems the problem never got resolved , “wrong” colors and menu at the very top.I did not do a conversion nor have any other weaver plugins.

Have you installed the Xtreme Theme Support plugin?
If so or when you have, go to Appearance > Xtreme admin > Main option pages, and save setting from there, then checked if that makes a difference.

First I installed the Xtreme Theme Support plugin.
– Saving setting from there didn’t make a difference.
– Disabling cache according to the Xtreme guide didn’t make a differenceAs “Blue colors” were the way I wanted to go I selected the “Go Blue” sub-theme, and tadaaaaa, all of a sudden it starts working , and all changes I make in the Support plugin but also via Themes-> Customize.

Congratulations! Good to hear that issue is resolved.
Regarding any custom CSS, that may be added in the Customizer.
Just to clarify a little on your meaning, can you please give an example if what you want/ need to achieve in the “inline CSS” as that term also relates to caches.
