We’re using Xtreme 4.4.7. Is this compatible with WordPress 5.8

We are now getting a memory warning on our site that updated automatically to WP 5.8:

“Warning! Your WP host server has only -1M of PHP Memory.

Depending on your WordPress configuration, this could cause settings made in the Customizer to NOT be saved and applied to your live site. Weaver Xtreme recommends at least 128M of PHP memory for the Customizer to work properly. Please verify that settings you make in the Customizer are being applied to your live site.”

So going to WP 5.8 caused this? Unable to access the host control panel as they are down… Far as I know our site works okay, but I would be nervous about making any setting changes now.

Check with your host provider if they need to raise your PHP memory

The supplier increased the memory to the max: 512 MB. The warning persists. See:

    memory_limit 512M 512M

Where are you getting the message?

Can you paste the content of the system Info box here

Please clarify what “system Info box” is. I do not know what this is.

The warning shows up in Appearance -> Weaver Xtreme Admin.

Appearance -> Weaver Xtreme Admin > Main Options >  Theme help > System and configuration

Had to install the support plugin. here it is:

    ### End System Info ###

You need ask your provider why it is still reporting

    Local Memory Limit: -1
    Server Memory Limit: -1

My system reports 256Min these two locations

You may also want to update your PHP, as you are on an old version (7.3) I am at 7.4.21

You may want to try and temporarily deactivate ALL non weaver plugin and see if that makes a difference. If it does reactivate one by one

There might be a new issue with 5.8. I will be back to my dev system soon and will try to see. Old Weaver II was generating that same -1 value too so it seems something is different in 5.8.

See my new post regarding WP 5.8 and PHP compatibility. I am unable to duplicate the message you’ve reported here.

If this error continues for you, we may have to get direct access to your website for additional testing.
