ParticipantHello
I have a website that is still in Weaver II Pro. Honestly, I haven’t managed it or done work on it in years.
It still works fine and as far as I can tell nothing is broken (i.e. plugins, functionality, etc.).
The website still receives legitimate tourist hits and requests.
It is not an especially big, complicated website (though it relies on a lot of plugins). It is basically a static website and it will see little content ever added to it – though it definitely should be redesigned and “brightened” up.
Since it has been so long since I’ve actively worked on it, with Weaver and in WordPress, I am not confident about upgrading it to Weaver Xtreme.
Are there any Weaver “experts” who feel confident enough to upgrade it for a reasonable fee?
This is a small-scale tourism organization and project.
I would consider something reasonable if (I and) the tourism organization can afford it. And, if I can help prepare it for an upgrade to Xtreme you could let me know.Or, should I change to a more “plug-and-play” theme that will be easier for novices to manage?
Or, should I follow the mantra? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Please feel free to contact me directly

ModeratorYou should definitely upgrade, and if you want to freshen it up, you can just install Xtreme, activate the theme, select the sub them the closest to the look you like, then fine tune it with help from this forum if you need to.
Remember, you can always switch back temporarily to Weaver II pro until you get it done as you like under Xtreme.
