ParticipantHi, I am working on a site (conversion of old site into WordPress, with old styling), but the hamburger menu does not react. I am using Weaver Xtreme 2.1.3. I already emptied cache, deactivated plugins, but it still does not work. Any suggestions? This is the link to the site in progress http://www.jenieuwesite.nl/leeuwen/
Thanks.
PS it does show .. when I press. Is there something simple that I just overlook?November 10, 2016 at 19:01 UTC - Views: 6 #31483Weaver
KeymasterI think this may have something to do with your hosting provider.
You don’t have any odd JavaScript files loading, but there does seem to be some JavaScript issue. On my normal Chrome desktop browser, I see that the menu is not properly switching between mobile and desktop view.
I can’t explain the reason.

ModeratorStart by deactivating ALL non weaver plugins and see if that makes a difference. If it does, reactivate one by one to find the culprit.
Check if you have any scripts loaded anywhere in content or head section… if you do remove them and see if that makes a difference.November 10, 2016 at 20:11 UTC - Views: 2 #31485Birgit
ParticipantHi, thanks for your quick reply. I put the site on another provider http://birgitdouma.nl/leeuwen/ but still does not work.
It is both shared hosting, but I never have problems with those providers, I built over 100 sites with them.
I used Xtreme a few times, but never had this issue.
I have now deactivated all plugins on http://www.jenieuwesite.nl/leeuwen/, is there still a JavaScript issue as you can see?
Thanks.November 10, 2016 at 20:19 UTC - Views: 19 #31486scrambler
ModeratorYou messed up the CSS 🙂
There is a rule in a CSS+ box (probably the menu bar BG).menu-primary .wvrx-menu-container {height: 65px;padding-top: 25px;background-image: url(“http://www.jenieuwesite.nl/leeuwen/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/bg-menu.png“);border-right:2px solid #6d0023;}
that fixes the height of the menu to 65px, preventing the menu to expand
Remove that

ParticipantThx a million. I now changed it into min-height. Love your quick support. Have a nice day (I will go to sleep now here in NL).
