    I have two quite large and complex websites using Weaver II Pro. I also have many sites using Xtreme which is great. I haven’t wanted to tackle the conversion on these two and they have been fine. After Windows version 5 these two sites have all kinds if issues. I installed the Enable jQuery plugin and issues went away but get constant warnings from the plugin as follows:

    2020-10-12 15:34:30 https://marbellalakeshoa.com/wp-content/themes/weaver-ii-pro/js/weaverjslib.min.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated https://marbellalakeshoa.com/
    2020-10-12 15:34:34 https://marbellalakeshoa.com/wp-content/themes/weaver-ii-pro/js/weaverjslib.min.js: jQuery.browser is deprecated https://marbellalakeshoa.com/homeowners/marbella-lakes-website-administration/

    I noticed that my version is 2.2.4 and there is a 2.2.9 available and I downloaded. If I install this will it fix these issues? If I delete the current version altogether and install this one will all my settings and theme content be there in the updated version (I do have the Weaver Theme Extras installed)?

    Thanks and I know I will need to address the big conversion but I have remained concerned about the effort and trying to this with a live and active site. The two sites are marbellalakeshoa.com and 4seasonssmithville.com

    2.2.9 is an update of 2.2.4 so that will conserve all your settings. Plus , you will need to be on it to do the conversion to Xtreme in the future.

    That said as a matter of precaution, always save and download a copy locally beforehand.

    As for the errors, no idea, @weaver may know more

    This is a WordPress decision to move on from some obsolete jQuery functionality. For now, these are warnings, I don’t know what that might mean in the future, but there is zero chance that will ever be fixed.
