I need to migrate a site from Weaver 2.2.9 to to Weaver Xtreme 2.0.4 and would appreciate some advice. I’ve tried to read through as much of the available documentation as possible.I’ve only just recently started with Weaver Xtreme 2.0.4, and have not had time to learn it well.

Because the site was never migrated to Weaver II, I am wondering what the recommended approach would be. I am planning to use Duplicator to migrate to a staging subdoman. I am thinking that maybe it is better to start fresh with Weaver Xtreme.rather than convert anything, because we plan to do a major rework on the design after the theme is in Weaver Xtreme. The site does not use a lot of shortcodes, and we are updating much of the content at the same time.

Starting fresh is probably the best solution.
A conversion would require for you to first convert to weaver II, then to Xtreme.

Thanks. I’ll go ahead and start fresh.

    One last question. I want
to cleanup the database after migrating. Can you tell me what tables
Weaver writes to so I can delete them before installing Weaver Xtreme?

@weaver would have to answer that

Weaver Xtreme settings in the database are called ‘weaverx_settings’. Any other options with weaver will be from older versions of Weaver.

You don’t need to clean this up before installing Weaver Xtreme – that can happen at any time. And I assume you’ll be using one of the post cleanup plugins that deletes post revisions and other unneeded DB entries.
