    Where do I specify to hide the header image on the blog pages that are generated?

    I may want header images on other pages.

    Be specific about what you mean by generated.

    Do you mean all the WordPress Archive pages?

    If so, use the rule below

    .archive #header-image {display:none;}

    I see how the header image can easily be hidden on any page. On my home page, I have blog excerpts and when you click on the excerpt you are taken to the full blog (link shown above in my previous post). That full post has a header image that I would also like to hide. I tried your css above, but the image remained. What am I missing?

    Thanks.

    Selector would be .single instead of .archive, if you want both use

    .single #header-image, .archive #header-image {display:none;}
