Video in Header

Hi. Is it possible to insert a video into the Header instead of a pic?  If so, can the video be looped?  Would it appear on all pages?.  The site is http://www.sleepyhollowclinic.co.za and this is the video I would like to insert … https://www.dropbox.com/s/wx2d71oc50zi120/Footprints%2002.mp4?dl=0 .  Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, you would hide the standard header image using the hide option in Main Options > Header > Header Image

For the Video you should host it on a site that can stream it to the visitors like youtube or vimeo.

Then you would insert it using Xtreme Youtube or vimeo shortcode (check the Add-Ons page). You would place the shortcode in one of the multiple area available, depending what else you need in your header area.

You can use the Header Widget area, or the header HTML area for that, and if you have Plus, you can use some of the Advanced Options > HTML Insertion areas.

If you have plus, you can also use the HTML Insertion areas on a page by page basis using a page custom Field.

Thanks a lot for the speedy reply.  Is it possible to save the video file to the photo library on the site itself rather than putting it on Youtube or Vimeo?  It is only 560kb.  I have already uploaded the video to the library.  Just want to know if I can insert it from there ??

That mean you would have to be setup to stream Video and it is not advisable and most likely not allowed by your host company without paying a premium.

The best way is use sites that are setup to stream to multiple users
