Translation in de_DE.po does not work

Hi folks,

I made some german translation in weaver-extreme/languages/de_DE.po and uploaded it by FTP. Weaver Xtreme (not Pro) is installed.  The changes do not work. Can anybody help me please?

Changes to the .po file must be compiled to a .mo file using an appropriate tool such as poedit.

The .po file is human readable, while the .mo file is altered for faster reading by WordPress.
