    I am trying to put a static message at the top of my blog pages.  I have used the text widget, but the alignment leaves the right side empty like it is displaying in 2 column format. Site address is starlodgehealing.com. How can I correct this formatting?

    Which ever starting subtheme you used has the Sidebars & Layout : Top Widget Areas : Columns set to 2, it looks like. Change that to 1.

    Thanks, I changed from the “Plain” subtheme to the “White” subtheme and it is fixed.

    But that is an option that you can easily change for any theme or subtheme. Don’t be afraid to try little tweaks like that.
