August 28, 2023 at 13:34 UTC - Views: 39 #73351Hello, I’m working on https://mediadevsite4.com/, and I’m having some kind of conflict.Under Main Options> Menus> Secondary Menu Bar Options – I am trying to set the Submenu BG color to #CC0504, but no matter what I do or set the color to, it keeps reverting back to the default color #E5E5E5.My tech person has also tried without success, and cleared the cache on the the server and she has also eliminated the possibility of any plugin conflict.Any help is welcomed!August 28, 2023 at 16:11 UTC - Views: 39 #73352

ModeratorDoes the settings change back after you save / publish it, or does the setting stick in the interface, but does not show on the page?
Also, are you setting it in the customizer, or in the Legacy Admin (Appearance > Xtreme Admin > Main option > menus?
If you are using the customizer and the setting does not hold in the customizer after publishing. Try to do it in the legacy admin (you have to have the Xtreme Theme Support plugin installed)
But if that is the case, read the article below for possible reason the customizer settings don’t save
Settings Won’t Save from Customizer – Weaver Xtreme Guide (weavertheme.com)

ParticipantI am doing it through the Legacy Admin (Appearance > Xtreme Admin > Main option > menus.
And yes, it changes back after I save / publish it. Every single time.

Moderatorif it does not stick, something is wrong with the installation.
Is the sub menu background color the only setting that does not stick, or others do the same too?
Also, make sure everything is up to date (Xtreme theme, Xtreme theme support plugin, Xtreme Plus if you ahve it.
Eventually paste the content of the system info box from the help page here so we can see the details of your configuration.
And of course try Deactivating ALL non weaver plugin to see if that makes a difference.
But ultimately, go through each item of the article I reference and see if one of them fixes it.

- Is the sub menu background color the only setting that does not stick, or others do the same too?
- have you tried changing settings in the Customizer?
@weaver, any idea what prevents the setting to save in the legacy admin given his parameters?August 30, 2023 at 03:17 UTC - Views: 16 #73360Weaver
KeymasterThe secondary menu hover is currently being set to CC0504. Perhaps you’ve set the wrong item?
