Strange Alignment of text

I’m creating a page with several lines of text. But when I display it, I only get one letter per line. This includes the page title. Any idea on what may be incorrectly set?

I have other pages which behave properly.

Without a link to the page, there is not much we can do.

It’s on my hard drive as I’m using MAMP for development. I wanted to include a screen shot but that didn’t seem to work. Or at least it have me a very big image. I could put the page shots on Dropbox and include links to it. Would that work?

A picture will not help. Without being able to actually inspect the actual page with the browser developer tools, here are no ways to know what may be going on.

If you want that kind of support, you need to setup a test site online where we can have a look.

You can do that by installing WordPress in a subfolder of any site you maintain.

You need to learn how to use your browser developer tool so you can inspect the page and see what is causing the issue.
