I am not using Xtreme Plus.So I don’t have access to Advanced options > HTML Insertion > Fixed top Area. Is there way to do this via Custom CSS Rules?

While there is a way to do this with Custom CSS, it is a simple check box sort of operation with Weaver Xtreme Pro.

You will save yourself time and effort by upgrading to Weaver Xtreme Plus, and also help support continued development of Weaver.

Well your configuration was not trivial to do with CSS. I definitely concur that “Plus” would be the way to go here.

This is what seems to do the job. Add the rules in Main Options > Fonts & Custom Custom CSS Rule box.

.is-desktop #nav-primary {position:relative;z-index:2;}

.is-desktop #header {position:fixed;}

.is-desktop #container {padding-top:24%;}

This is not 100% responsive, if you shrink the browser when the menu gets on two lines, some of the content will be under the fixed area.

Thanks for the supper quick response. I agree that Plus would probably be a better option. I do pro-bono work for a number of grassroots organizations who have zero budgets for most things other than core activities. I donate the website hosting. I’ll put it to them re the cost. To confirm, if we purchase a one-site license, we’ll have to renew the license in 18 months again and that’s an additional cost?

The code makes the content scroll on top of the header and menu, not under. I don’t want to tie up your time for something that we may not use if it’s clunky. I’ll move to Plus if the organization wants this functionality.

You don’t HAVE to renew after 18 month. The plugin will continue to work if you don’t renew, you will just not be getting new updates.

For the overlay that would be an easy fix. You can try changing the rules to the one below, if it still goes on top, we need a link to the site with the CSS in place
