Staging Site not referencing css or staging url

My Weaver Xtreme site is hosted on bluehost.  I’ve set up a staging site, and while I have changed all database table references from pointing to production site to point to the staging url (using better Search Replace, as suggested by bluehost docs), all my links still point to the production site, and the css is not being pulled up at all. Before I start digging into all of the theme files, where else should I make changes to make the staging site truly replicate the production site?

I assume you are using different URLs for each site?

Could be a caching issue.

I’m not sure if the move plugins handle changing site content links. You might need to fix the menu URLs as well – not sure those are in the same settings database entry.

If it mostly the content you want to experiment with, you could try exporting the whole site, and then importing to the staging site. But again, that would likely keep existing links other than the media library. Could then try using the DB editor.

I have duplicated my main site onto my pc a number of times and since it’s a single site, it’s been pretty easy.

As Scrambler wrote, the are plugins to help, but with Xtreme, I’ve not found them necessary.

My process is to install WP and configure it. I then install Xtreme and import the settings files.

I then install the plugins and configure them.

Finally I import all the contents from the live site, in managable chunks.

That’s worked for me .
