ParticipantHi 😉
I have used the 2010 Weaver theme for many years and like it very much.
It is this website https://kf-oster.net/ (Norway)
But when I was about to upgrade from PHP 7.4 to 8.0 the site crashed. I would really like to know if there is anything I can do about it, or if I have to move to another theme?November 19, 2022 at 16:46 UTC - Views: 26 #71317scrambler
ModeratorThe current weaver theme is Weaver Xtreme, you can install it and activate it (along with its Compagnon plugin Xtreme theme support), and you will be in familiar territory with many new feature to support modern mobile device and web design styles

KeymasterFor easiest transition, be sure to install the Weaver Xtreme Theme Support plugin which as the classic settings interface.
You will likely have to re-set the menus as WP doesn’t auto transfer menu settings. The menu definition should still be there, you just have to reassign the Primary menu.
You might try the new Cosmic Latte subtheme as it is somewhat similar to the 2010 subtheme you were using in 2010.

KeymasterMost web hosta will allow you to control which version of PHP you are using. May be buried a bit in the settings, but you should still have a while before PHP 7 goes away – at least on most hosts.
