    Hi all,

The one thing that I feel is a backward step in Xtreme from Weaver Pro II is the integration of the social icons. These were great in Weaver, easy to use and they looked good. Is there a chance the old Weaver buttons could  be brought back and the ‘add to menu’ option included?
I’ve upgraded this site to Xtreme from Weaver:

I’ve added the [social] shortcode to the ‘extra html’ field in the menu but then had to mess about with link colours across the site to get them to be white. They still don’t look great because they’re not centered vertically. Can anyone help center them vertically on the menu please?

    Many thanks,

    Andy

There are no plans in the near future to modify the social icons included with Weaver Xtreme Plus.

Read Item #3 of the thread below to see how to replace your icons by your own

    Thanks for the responses.

Is there any way of me vertically centering the the social buttons on the menu, so they’re in line with the menu text?
Also, this site has a strange dark 1 pixel high line that runs along the top of the page that gets interrupted by the header image. I’d love to get rid of the dark line but can’t find where it’s coming from!?
    Many thanks,
    Andy

put a 1 or any proper value in the HTML Top margin box at the bottom of the menu option

Thanks Scrambler – that’s sorted the vertical positioning nicely.

Any ideas where that broken line is coming from? I’m stumped…
    Thanks for your help.

By resizing the browser I can see that the left and right “lines” are actually a continuation of the grey shading on the left and right of the content area.

I must be blind, because I don’t see any lines, so you will need to elaborate and precise which browser they show up on

I saw it using Firefox. Have a screen shot, but don’t know how to display it.

    OK, I see it now.
@barbeluk1 , did you by any change use both full width option in the header. What I mean is did you both put a color in the “Full Width BG” box AND check “Extend BG attibutes” ?
If so DO not do that, use one or the other, not both. Test each one separately, and if you are still getting the problem post back

    Thanks for the replies.

    Here’s what I’ve tried:
Extend background attributes is on, no full width background colour = same problem
Extend background attributes is off, full width background colour set to white = header image now wrapped with a shadow (not the look I want) even though shadow is off for the header area, I’ve left site in this state so you can see it.

Put the site in the proper configuration, which is “extend BG attribute” checked, and NOTHING in the Full Width BG box and post back so we can test in the configuration that does what you need

I’ve put the site back as you suggest Scrambler.

This is because you have checked the border option on the wrapper.

I dont think you actually need that, so remove it and all should be well.

If you do need the border, we can add a custom CSS rule to remove the top one only which is the one causing the problem

Many thanks Scrambler. That’s sorted it, in fact it looks better without the board on the wrapper. 🙂
