SmartMenus and WP Rocket problem

Hello,

In Weaver Xtreme, I have SmartMenus enabled and I also use WP Rocket. In WP Rocket I have Remove Unused CSS, Delay Javascript Execution and Delay Javascript Loading enabled.

When I use Firefox for Android on my mobile phone and click on the menu it works for a few clicks and then it “freezes”. I think it might have to do with the smartmenu CSS and JS being cached and then not being able to call the mobile menu modal window. As far as I have tested this problem does not occur in Google Chrome.

I did try to exclude the smartmenu JS from caching in WP Rocket, however I still did not manage to get it working.

So, there is probably some JS and CSS I am missing from excluding in WP Rocket.

I hope someone with the same problem can help me. Thank you.

As all Xtreme CSS and JS files are already compressed, re-compressing or minimizing them again will lead to unpredictable bad results.

I am not familiar with the WP Rocket plugin, but I’m pretty sure there is a way to exclude all the Xtreme CSS & JS files.

You need to exclude all files in the following path: /wp-content/themes/weaver-xtreme/

All that said and done, you ought to be able to test this to see if this really is the root problem, by turning off the WP Rocket cache plugin (and any other optimization plugins), clearing all caches, and seeing if the problems are solved.
