Slider is displaying raw HTML code

This is just recently (in the last few days), but a slider I had displaying the newest posts in a particular category is now showing raw HTML text.
Here’s what it looks like:

The display is from a widget: [widget_area area="latest_worship"]
The widget is just a shortcode: [show_slider name=latest-worship]
As I mentioned, this is a really recent problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@weaver has released a new version of the slider, unfortunately some of it is broken, ans he is looking into it

I’ve been trying to get show-posts to work. I thought I had show sliders working, but that will take some time. The olde version was never broken, just needed to meet new security standards (and there has not been any sort of breech or issue discovered – just trying to update to pass the plugin  check).

So:

Download previous version HERE.

Downloaded and installed the previous version. It works. Thanks.
(Disabled auto updates for the time being as well.)

I’ve just updated show posts and show sliders to the repository. They’ve had a lot of testing, and I’m pretty sure they both work now – but you never know for sure.
