ParticipantWhen I use the show post filter (see code), and embed it on a page, the featured image does not show. I have featured images visible everywhere else. What am I missing?
[show_posts excerpt_length=75 posts_per_page=1 show=excerpt] Thanks,
Eric

ModeratorFI can be set differently for blog pages, single pages, excerpts and full post. Make sure to review and confirm your settings in Main options > Post Specifics > Featured image section
Also check and confirm the settings in your show post filter Post display Options under “display posts as” and make sure the option “Hide featured image in post” is not checked in that section.
Beyond that, we need a link to the pages showing the FI and the one with the Show post shortcode.

ParticipantOk thanks. I think I sorted it out. I have the “Page with Posts” setting at “Title + Feature Image” setting. This is preventing the FI from showing when an excerpt is selected via show posts. I will find another way.
Thanks for your time. I know everyone is busy these days trying to adapt to the current situation.

ModeratorYou may also want to try the option “Disable automatic post display integration with Weaver Themes” at the top of the filter

ParticipantThx. Might be a bug. As a workaround I created another filter as follows:
[show_posts cols=3 offset=1 posts_per_page=6 show=title_featured hide_top_info=true] Then I switched to the default template rather than Page With Posts and used this filter. Worked perfectly.
I tried the “Disable automatic post display integration with Weaver Themes” and it worked, included info I don’t want showing (tags, author, etc.) However, I will see what settings I can use to fix this.
Thanks,

ModeratorYou should never use a show post filter on a “page with posts” template page as this creates conflict within WordPress.
Either use a page with posts to display the posts, or use showposts shortcode(s) inside a default template page.
