ParticipantSince WordPress has updated to its newer version, I no longer have access to the Customiser.
Ordinarily, this doesn’t worry me too much as I usually use the Weaver Xtreme Admin page. However, I’m looking to change my header image and, in the past, I’ve been only been able to do it via the Customiser.
Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives?

KeymasterThe Customizer should still be there when using non-Block themes. If somehow you’ve activated a block theme (e.g., Twenty-Twentytwo), then the Customizer is indeed gone.
Be sure you are using Weaver Xtreme 5.0.6 (or whatever the latest version is).
The Customizer should still be there.

ModeratorAlso make sure you have installed the latest version of the Xtreme Theme support plugin (5.0.2)

ParticipantMy apologies. What I meant to say was when I click on the Customiser, the page comes up blank. This is what it looks like.
Incidentally, I am using the latest Weaver Theme (5.0.6) and Theme Support version (5.0.2)

ModeratorFirst thing to do is deactivate ALL non weaver plugins and see if the issue goes away in case one in interacting.
If not, you can do a full reset of weaver stuff in case something became corrupt.
- Save your weaver settings and download a copy for good measure.
- Switch to a different theme
- Deactivate and DELETE all weaver theme and plugins.
- Reinstall Xtreme latest version from WordPress, activate and see if the customizer now works.
- If it does reinstall all weaver plugins from WordPress, and if you have Plus, download a fresh copy from your weaver account and reinstall / activate

ParticipantI have taken all the steps you have recommended but the problem still persists …

ModeratorWhen you switch to a different theme (not a new block theme), does the customizer works?
Also, paste the content of the system info box in the help page here for more details

ParticipantIs Twenty Twenty a block theme? If not, then no customiser is still out of commission.
Sorry, I’m a little confused by your second sentence … Where’s the “system info box”?

ModeratorNo 2020 is not a block theme, so if the customizer is broken with it, even with ALL plugins deactivated, then your WordPress installation is Likely corrupted.
Try reinstalling the latest WordPress update from the dashboard, or seek help from your host provider

ParticipantI think my computer might be a bit too old for the latest browser version.
I managed to access the Customiser through my husband’s newer computer so I know the WordPress files aren’t corrupt. Until I can afford a new computer, I’ll be using his for that feature.
Thanks for all your help anyway!

KeymasterYou could try switching browsers – either Chrome or Firefox are likely to work, even on older devices.
If you have Windows, then it is not likely that browsers before Edge will work.
