Directions say I can put Shortcodes in the header of Weaver Extreme.  However if you can’t do it, they suggest doing it with a plugin called Orbisus Child Theme Creator and editing that.  But if you can just  put it in the header why load this?  However there are no directions for loading the short code in the header of Weaver Extreme which sounds easier.  The Slider is working on a post and regular page.  Some of what I am reading leads me to believe I need a static page to do this which would require two pages.  I got lost at that point.  Does anyone have simple directions on how to do this.

    Thanks

Definitely no need to use plugin for that.

You have many different way to use a slider for header in Xtreme, and even more if you have Weaver “Plus” plugin for the theme.

You can Hide the main header image using the option in Main options > Header > Header image section.

Then you can insert your slideshow shortcode in either main options > HEader > Header HTML area, or main options > HEader > Header widget area.
