I just installed  Weaver Show Sliders on my WordPress site  genesis9.angzva.com.

I began receiving  a gazillion errors:

    <b>Notice</b>: Array to string conversion in <b>/. . ./wp-includes/formatting.php</b> on line <b>1098</b>

    Followed by a bunch of

    <b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset ‘domain’ in <b>/ . . ./wp-includes/l10n.php</b> on line <b>686</b>

I disabled the plug-in and wondering what to do next.

@weaver will have to comment, but in the meantime, paste here the content of the system Info box found in the help page of the xtreme admin.

WordFence seems to be blocking it.  WT?

You do have a lot of plugins. I’m pretty sure you don’t need Gutenberg plugin as the stable version is included with WP. The plugin provides bleeding edge features to test for future versions of WP.

I would also suspect the Autoptimize plugin as it can mess with how Weaver’s Javascript scripts function by over-optimization.

Oh – you must install Weaver ShowPosts before Show Sliders – it probably should be considerd a bug in Show Sliders that it doesn’t prevent itself from activation without show sliders, but it turns out that is a bit difficult to do reliably.

But, frankly, there are many slider plugins that likely have more features and are more up to date. I don’t have any suggestions, and I really don’t know of any other that will display posts in a slider if that is your goal.

There are sliders that do show posts, and have humdreds of thousands of users. Search WP Plugins for “posts in a slider”
