we do not have auto update on.  today tried to update, and still getting 7.0.  is there a way to download it?

I don’t understand your post. What were you trying to do? What generated all those messages form WordPress core?

Did you do anything that triggered all those error messages that involved Wever Xtreme Plus?

@weaver, I was not trying anything, just looking at the admin updates page looking if I had the last updates when I saw this “warnings”. I thought it was perhaps related to the recent updates of extreme plus. But it was not (no warnings on another site with plus). Reinstalling wordpress 6.4. solved the problem

I’ve not had any issues with WP 7.0 on several sites. Comments say it is much better than any 6.x version.

However, I think quite a few people are having PHP version issues, which is really up to your host site, and not WordPress.

Some the the updates in some of earlier versions of some Weaver Plugis did have PHP issues. All currently released Weaver plugins with work with later versions of PHP.

So having issues go away by reverting ot a pretty old WP 6.4 are not a proper solution. I suspect any issues you saw were from plugins, not WP, but I’ve not used any version of WP older thant 6.9 for quite a while.
