Problem with displaying a link

Hello. I'm having trouble displaying another entry linked in the text. In the editor it looks ok, but in the preview it is unfortunately reduced...

I can open both links in my browser.

I confirm that https://kaliszpomorski.eu/na-ratunek-lokomotywowni-w-kaliszu-pomorskim/ will render correctly as a WP link within a WP post.

But, https://kaliszpomorski.eu will NOT render correctly as a WP link within a WP post.

After viewing the source code for both pages, I cannot find anything noticeably different, which stops it loading – but it must be there…. somewhere…..

Will have another look ….

It looks like there are some loading and permissions errors showing up on https://kaliszpomorski.eu, in particular with the “cookie-notice” plugin.

May I suggest that you install and run the “Select Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin and test your edit page with all the plugins turned off.  https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

That will allow you to find out which plugin is causing the issue.

Thank you for all your advice and suggestions. The problem was the Jet Pack Boost plugin. After turning it off, the link displays correctly. What is your suggestion – remove it completely or try to change something else in the settings?…

I would suggest you first contact the plugin author and ask for a fix, as their plugin is conflicting seriously with a core WP function.

I would then suggest that if possible, you keep the problem plugin deactivated untill they reply with a fix.

If they will not fix it, you may need to find an alternative plugin for the delinquent one.

Another alternative is to accept a different approach and appearance for what is not working and simply use a HTML URL link to the page title text,  or to an image + text to represent the page.

Then the plugin error becomes irrelevant.

But you still need to tell them of their WP Core conflict.

I was  having a look at the  “Jet Pack Boost” plugin and now see it is  designed to Optimize  and Minify CSS, JS etc.

You need to know that all Weaver Xtreme Theme files are already Optimized and Minified.

If you put the Xtreme files through that plugin, it is very likely that they will not load and cause problems.

Please check and ensure that all files with the following path, are excluded from the “Jet Pack Boost” plugin:

/wp-content/themes/weaver-xtreme/

That may well resolve the issue you have.

This is very important information. The JetPack Boost plugin has now been removed. I don’t miss it. The post is already published and the link displays very well. Your advice is very valuable.
