Primary sidebar display problem

I’m having trouble restoring the correct display of my sidebar.  I’m not very skillful with html and very unskilled with css. My site is HVPI.net   Please let me know if you need to see the coding for the sidebar widget.  Thank you for taking a look!

You need to be more explicit other than “the correct display of my sidebar”. What is wrong? It is showing, although with no right margin or something.

There is no need to mess with HTML or CSS, all sidebar settings are available in the theme.

There is a global sidebar configuration available by page type in the sidebar and layout section.

Then each page has a configuration setting to change that layout on a per page basis.

The widgets also have numerous settings for paddings and margins

Please make sure you have the WP “Classic Widgets” installed, as this plugin will help ensure that any old  WP Widgets (non-block) you install in the side bar, work correctly.

(As this is a compatibility plugin, there are no customizable features on this plugin.)

Forgive my ignorance, but I don’t know how to install the Classic Widgets plugin.  I downloaded it to my computer but how do I get it installed into my dashboard?

Left Admin Bar > Plugins > Add New Plugin > Search Plugins box – insert “Classic Widgets” > Install > Activate
