ParticipantI have lost my primary menu since updating to Weaver xtreme Plus 4.3.5. I thought I had posted this but cannot now find it. so I apologize in advance if it is somewhere here. I do not see it in my list of discussions.
If there is not a solution I would like to download 4.3.4.
My website is: southernarizonaguide.com

Moderator@weaver should have a look at this as we have had no other reports.
I can see the primary menu div, but it is empty, so there definitely appear to be an issue.
Have you tried deactivating ALL non weaver plugins to see if one may have a problem with the new version.

ParticipantI will do that, and we can troubleshoot, but currently I just want the menu back so I am going to revert to 4.3.4

ParticipantYes, disabling plugins did not help. Reverting to the previous version did not help. hmm.

ModeratorOk now it is getting weird.
First make sure you clear ALL your caches.
Next, check if you have any plugin that does css and or javascript optimization.
These can break the theme in very unpredictable ways so if you have plugin doing that (like the jetpack option), make sure you disable it.

ModeratorI also see error messages at the top saying
Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /nas/content/staging/soazguide/wp-content/plugins/wpfw_menus_management/functions.php on line 19

SO it sounds like you have a menu management plugin having some trouble, I would start by disabling that.

ParticipantIt was disabled. I enabled it so that I could export the menus to save them. I have since disabled it again.

ModeratorJust to be sure, can you go to Appearance > Xtreme Admin > Main options > Menus > Primary menu bar, and check the the Hide menu option is set to do not hide.
Also if you can grab a screen shot of all primary and secondary menu options in that page and post it here

ParticipantYes, thanks, I saw that.

ParticipantThe right sidebar is up where the menu bar should be. Could that be interferring?

ModeratorNext, I would do the following.
- Save all theme settings and download a copy locally
- Switch to a different theme
- Delete weaver Xtreme Theme and plugins
- Reinstall Weaver Xtreme THEME from WordPress and activate
- Reinstall Weaver Xtreme Theme Support PLUGIN from WordPress and activate
- If you have Plus redownload a fresh copy, install and activate
All settings should be back, clear all caches and see what happens

Participantok.. I restored the files to a backup. I then updated a staging site and the same thing happens. This is WPENGINE which I gather you do not care for as a host. I have caching turned off. If you would like to take a look, I can give you the staging site. I have disabled all the plugins except Weaver plugins as well. I am not sure I need all of them.
I am on Xtreme Plus.
they are:
WeaverII theme extras
Weaver Show Posts
Weaver Themes Shortcode Compatibility
Weaver Xtreme Plus
Weaver Xtreme Theme SupportShould I disable any of these?
Thanks!

KeymasterI tried to follow this thread, but I’m a bit confused. Your home site, southernarizonaguide.com, at this moment appears to be using 4.3.4, and I see 3 Weaver menus on the home page – primary, secondary, and a plus extra menu for Dining.
Is that correct? Is there a missing menu?
Version 4.3.5 did have significant changes to the primary, secondary, and mini menu code due to some new WP theme requirements, but the functionality should not have changed at all, and there haven’t been any other reports of issues. There will be a 4.3.6 released withing a day or two with a few fixes, but nothing with menus. But if you update to 4.3.6 when it comes out, and the issue returns, I can try to have a look at your site directly. I will be unavailable for a few days later in the upcoming week, so you might want to wait until the following week to try the 4.3.6 update.
