polylang and show_slider

Hello Everybody,

In Weaver Xtreme (plus) I’m using a [show_slider] in the Appearance/Main Option/Header/Image HTML Replacement slot to make a header slider. All was well. Then I have tried to use polylang+lingotek to have two languages on the same site. English works OK, but the slider is not visible in the alternate language. Another post here touched on a similar issue:

Their language switcher widget got hidden under the header. They worked around by fiddling with z-index.

I’m not sure how I would do that with a shortcode. Or if that is even the issue here. I turned off header BG color but still no slider in that language, sitewide. Ideas?

edit: solved. Not theme issue, polylang tries to “translate” your media by default. It hides the whole media library from posts and pages unless you RTFM. Yes, it tries to translate your images. Go to polylang settings and read carefully.
