    Hi weaver support,

    i have manged to build a page with parallax posts. the first post should look more like a “welcome” page with an excerpt, the others are just normal parallax posts. i have still have some problems;

    1. excerpt text is not centered is itself
    2. excerpt text block is not centered on page (horizontally & vertically)
    3. the styling of the excerpt text in that specific post seems to effect the styling (at least the text size, not the colour?) of all other posts on that page.
    4. how can i insert a more obvious “scroll down” icon instead of that small v-like character?

    http://family.3kiwis.co.nz/?page_id=2806

    how do i style the excerpt for correct position and how does it not affect the other posts? or does that unintended styling in the other posts come from somewhere else? i can’t find it!

    thank you in advance,

    Your HTML in the top parallax box is invalid. you have

    <margin-top: 300px="">KIA ORA AND WELCOME TO OUR
    FAMILY AND FRIENDS WEBSITE
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    ∨
    </margin-top:>

    You should have

    <div style="margin-top:30%">KIA ORA AND WELCOME TO OUR
    FAMILY AND FRIENDS WEBSITE
    </div>

    If you want to style that text only and not all posts, add the styling in the div style attribute

    If you want to insert a Scroll down Icon, find the Image you want for the scroll down icon, upload it to your site, and add it in the HTML. It will look something like

    <div style="margin-top:30%">KIA ORA AND WELCOME TO OUR
     FAMILY AND FRIENDS WEBSITE
     <img src="IconImageUrl" />
     </div>

    thanks a lot, scrambler. everything works now. i have put the code in as you said and everything good. but i have now put the welcome line in the image as the styling was getting too complicated with the different fonts. but if i want to change it at another rtime i know now how to do it. thanks again!
