Page with Posts repeats first post of the day

My pages with posts seem to repeat the first post. This is a long-time issue, but I think there should be a solution.

One page [https://ssnet.org/daily-lessons/] has this code:

[show_posts filter=daily-lessons]
And you can see that the first post appears twice.

Is there a different way I can do this so the first post will not repeat?

Just checked my own Front Page (as it’s a long time since I set it up).

On that page, I have NO code. Weaver-Xtreme does it automatically.

However, rereading the “Weaver Xtreme Options for This Page” tab (The Front Page is as yours.) I have this highlighted note at the top of that tab:

“Information: This page has been set to serve as your front page in the Dashboard: Settings: Reading ‘Front page:’ option. ”

The only settings I have selected in the Weaver tab are:

Visibility Tab:
1) Hide info Bar on this page
2) Hide Page Title

Page with Posts Tab:
1) Display posts as: Excerpt
2) Display post columns: 1 Column

Please give that a try and see how it works for you.

Thank you for your response. My front page works fine – no duplicate posts.

The name of the page is “Front Page.”
Like your front page, it has zero apparent code, but some WeaverX settings, including

Hide page title, layout settings, primary sidebar widget placement.

The only thing on the page is:

[show_posts filter=daily-lessons]

After going through the settings, as I did for my front page, I decided to delete the line above. And the page is now displaying correctly!!

It seems that the [show_posts filter=daily-lessons] and the WeaverX settings under “Page with Posts” were two ways of dealing with the same issue. It’s a wonder the page worked as well as it did. Everything displayed fine, except that the first post displayed twice!

It was a long time since I set up the page, and I had a mental block until you made me actually look at the page. You helped me by making me pay closer attention.
