I’m going in circles trying to get my page to stretch across the whole width of the browser/monitor. Specifically, I want the background color and image to be 100% of the browser and the content should also be 100% if possible. In trying to follow the directions, I go to Main Options, Wrapping Areas, Theme Width. There, the notes says, “Change Theme Width. Standard width is 1100px. Use the options on the “Full Width” tab for full width designs, but leave this value set.”

When I go to the “Full Width” tab, I find this note, Full Width options have been replaced by Align Full or Align Wide in Weaver Xtreme V5.

Then, when I try to change the options, I find that they are only available via (★Plus).

Why can I not have a full-width site? I am so tire of going in circles with this and I have completely lost faith in the Weaver brand.

Yes, you can indeed have a full-width site as you seek.

Indeed as you will have read on the information about this. Weaver Xtreme Plus allows you to specify a background image for specific areas on your site, including a full screen site bg image, background images for the wrapper, header, container, content, sidebars and more. You easily pick any image from your Media Library to use as the background image.

Weaver Xtreme Plus is available here: https://plus.weavertheme.com/

    Hope this helps.

Most of the full width options are available without the Plus plugin.

If you just want the whole site to be full width, go to Main options > Wrapping areas > Wrapper Area > Align Area > choose “Align full” in drop down list

If you want to only extend some parts of the site like header, footer, menus…. Go in the settings of that area, and in the “Align Area” option drop down list choose “Align Full”
