Why in Weaver Xtreme there are not many options that offer a new version of WordPress, eg own font size settings, pattern directory, dragging and dropping content, styling each image in Galeri separately. e.t.c.

ModeratorI do not understand what you mean.
But it sounds like you are speaking of content creation.
In that case, a Theme is not allowed to manage that. This is typically done by WordPress Block editors and plugins.

ModeratorYou would need to elaborate.
What do you mean by WordPress? do you mean a WordPress theme? Which one?
Where are these image taken from? the customizer, a page or post content editing page, a specific block?

I’m not positive what you are asking, but when using the block editor for paragraphs (for example), there is a typography box that has various options.
Those options seem to generate inline styling for the text in question. These would override Weaver Xtremes more global text styling.
There does not seem to be Block Editor options to set font family – but Weaver does offer options for font family, as well as other font styling on different areas of the site. These can be set for the content area, for example. Or sidebars. It is generally considered best to keep the number of fonts to a minimum.
So – block editor – very localized font typography. Theme (includein Weaver Xtreme) – font styling/typography at a more global level.

ParticipantWordPress as a content management system – platform. It offers font size change options in the Block Editor (paragraph).
These options are available on the default motive, eg twenty-twenty-one. etc. (on the right)
In the Xtreme Weaver theme when using a block editor, there is no full choice. This means that you can not select the font size: 12px, 14px, 16px, etc.April 2, 2022 at 16:51 UTC - Views: 38 #70597scrambler
ModeratorAre you checking in the EXACT SAME BLOCK, in both Xtreme and the WordPress Theme and seeing that difference ?
If so, please tells us Which Block and Which WordPress theme you are using so @weaver can check.
A theme should not change what a block displays. Make sure you are not missing a setting in the block. Some blocks have an option to show a basic set of options or an extended set, make sure you did not simply missed that option.

ParticipantI use the Xtreme weaver on all my sites and the same problem is everywhere. I work out all the options for the typography block and unfortunately there is nothing I wrote about before.

Participantand how is it with you?
April 2, 2022 at 20:21 UTC - Views: 31 #70600scrambler
ModeratorYou are not answering the question.
WHAT block did you see the difference on?
For example using the Xtreme theme, If I open a page editing page, and insert a Paragraph block, In the right column, there is a box Typography, and I see all the various size choices like you mentioned you see with a WP theme
ASLO if I click on the three dots right of Typography, it opens a sub menu, and I can chose to see the other options. If I switch to twenty twenty one, I see the exact SAME options as in Xtreme
So I do not see the issue you are mentioning

ModeratorThe only difference is that under Xtreme, I don’t see the Line height option.
@weaver, any reason the paragraph block typography tools does not show the line height option under Xtreme, or am I missing something ?April 4, 2022 at 22:44 UTC - Views: 11 #70617Weaver
KeymasterPerhaps because Weaver sets a line-height in the global CSS? Don’t know.
I tried with 2020 theme, and the typography options were even more different – but no line height.
Somethinkg theme related where only newest themes seem to allow that. But Weaver is definitely designed before the block editor. It does have a bunch of generateed CSS that attempts to change some of the default Block Editor styling to match the Weaver settings, but it is just not easy to keep up with all the Block Editor changes.
