    I’m converting my site from Weaver II to Xtreme. At first I tried changing the theme (after backing everything up of course). The live preview looked good, but when I activated it, almost the entire page began with a non-scrollable block of links to existing pages. Only the bottom inch showed the site. I couldn’t figure out how to disable that block, so now I’m doing a separate install with a separate database.

    My current problem is with hiding the site title. I’m using a image for the header and I want to disable the text title. I read about a ‘hide site title’ option under Customize / General Options & Admin / Site Identity (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hide-site-title-tagline-globally/), but I do not have that option. All I see are options to change the logo, site title, tag line and site icon. Why don’t I have the hide options?

    I’m running WordPress 5.4.

    First make sure you have read an followed the article below

    https://guide.weavertheme.com/converting-a-weaver-ii-pro-or-aspen-site-to-weaver-xtreme/

    The Hide Site tile or Tagline are either in the Legacy Xtreme Admin > Main Options > Header > Site Title and tagline  (note: you need toi have the Xtreme Theme Support plugin installed)

    or in Customizing ▸ Visibility > Header Area

    That was it. I was looking under customize. Thanks.

    @Andrew

    It IS ALSO available in the customizer as I mentioned under Appearance > Customizing ▸ Visibility > Header Area
