Hi folks,I’ve just updated to Xtreme Plus and was having trouble finding a few similar mobile options to Weaver II.Has the option to have an alternate Header on mobile been removed to the new version? Also has this shortcode been removed:[weaver_hide_if_mobile][/weaver_hide_if_mobile]I found these really simple to work with and wondered if there was an alternate way to do this on the Xtreme Plus version?CheersRobMarch 13, 2015 at 17:31 UTC - Views: 5 #20534scramblerModerator
First if you upgraded to Xtreme, there is a weaver Shortcode compatibility plugin you can install to make most shortcode work.
the weaver_show/hide_if_mobile Shortcode has been replace by a more powerful one called show_if or hide_if you can find its options on the Add Ons page.
It allows you to show and hide stuff based on any device , but also page ids etc….
So to answer your original question, you can hide the standard Header image on mobile using Main options > Header > Header Image > Hide Header image drop down list, then insert the mobile header image in an insertion area next to it like Header HTML placed inside a [show_if device='mobile'] shortcodeMarch 13, 2015 at 17:42 UTC - Views: 2 #20535

Leading on from my original question…Has the function to use a featured image as an alternate header on individual pages been removed? If so I’m guessing I will have to do it on page id using your above method Scrambler?CheersRobMarch 16, 2015 at 19:03 UTC - Views: 3 #20537scramblerModerator
No it is there with a much more powerful set of options, in the page edit page options with a list of choices.
Look for the option drop down list named Featured Image > How to display the FI on this pageMarch 16, 2015 at 19:30 UTC - Views: 2 #20538
Oh thanks, I was looking on the header tab rather than the content tab.Brilliant!
