What would you propose to replace the Meteor Slider?

This article states that the Slider has not been updated for 2 years and no response from Josh demonstrates that he’s no longer interested. Your thoughts, as I know you have been recommending it for a very long time.
One would assume that the plugin is no longer supported. It may continue to function, however.
The whole world of sliders has had good, incremental improvements over the years. I would say that even Weave Show Sliders is a bit outdated now.
At this point, I would look into sliders that support the Gutenberg Block Editor, or even a page builder. They tend to be more integrated.
