menu problem

I have somewhat the same problem. After updating 1.0.2.6 to 1.1., my :home” button has dropped below the horizontal line of the rest of the menu.See the screenshot.     My website is http://amtrans.us Any help would be appreciated.

You have done something strange on your home menu items, it shows as having two links

and invisible one

and the visible home item

<a href=”Homehttp://amtrans.us/”>Home</a&gt;

Normally it should only have the second one.

Try to figure out what you did that creates that other one. May be in Appearance > Menus > Menu label, or a plugin that would be doing that (deactivate all non weaver plugins and see if the problem goes away).

If there is a valid reason for that, please explain and we can work a solution so the invisible link does not take its normal space

I haven’t touched the menu settings since I built the site. The only thing I did to the site is upgrade to 1.1.Everything worked fine with 1.0.2.6. If I go back to 1.0.2.6 using Updraft Backup everything is fine (I’ve already done that once). Also I deactivated all my plugins but the problem was still there.

I solved the problem. It was the overlay  “click here to request a quote” banner on the header that was the problem.Thanks
