Manual Excerpt box in Weaver Slider

WP Edit Settings “General” tab, there are two options – WP Edit Post Excerpt and WP Edit Page Excerpt. Check BOTH of these and you will get full edit capability on both standard Posts, and Weaver Show Slider posts.

Both are checked. In the standard post i have now in screen settings a checkbox WP Edit Excerpt and  the edit window.

But in Weaver slider post screen settings there is no WP Edit check box en no edit window.  What can I do to get this option in Weaver slider post

Weaver Show Sliders is totally independent of page or post content creation. The WP Edit plugin and its associated settings apply only to the Page and Post editor on the standard WP Page/Post edit windows.

So I really don’t understand your question: But in Weaver slider post screen settings there is no WP Edit check box en no edit window.  What can I do to get this option in Weaver slider post

Weaver slider post is a custom post type.

I asked Josh (the developer of WPedit) a long time ago to add his editor to custom post types, and he said he would consider it but never did.

This would be a good time to ask him again if he could add his editor to custom post types 🙂

Reading this i had the idea that this option is also available in Weaver slider posts.

I think there was previously a bug in WP Edit that has been fixed, but now invalidates the help file.

At one point in the recent past, checking BOTH the post and the page excerpt options forced the excerpt editor to show up for Slider Post types. That never made sense, really, because checking the Page option made the excerpt editor show up on custom post types, but it DID work. Apparently they fixed that, but now there is no excerpt WP Edit for custom post types. @scrambler ‘s comments apply now.
