lost @media rule for tablets since smart menu activated

Hi

I have this rule in place to reduce my font size for tablets so that the menu doesn’t go onto 2 lines

@media only screen and (min-width:768px) and (max-width:960px) {

#menu-fixed-menu a {font-size:.75em !important;}

.is-desktop #wrapper {margin-top:50px;}

}

since i activated smart menus it doesn’t seem to work anymore any ideas how to fix?

I really don’t know where the #menu-fixed-size is coming from – nothing Weaver Xtreme generates normally, but using #nav-primary or #nav-secondary instead of menu-fixed-menu will work for the main menu bars.

The #menu-fixed-size was there because I’m using the fixed top menu, i think it was @scrambler that gave me the css, but ill try your other suggestions

Hmm not working if i change the css to your suggestions, i decided to have a look and see how i did this, i am using the extra menu in html insertion “Fixed Browser Top”

using this shortcode [extra_menu menu_name='Fixed Menu' menu_style='extra' menu_type='standard']  

im guessing i can’t put an @media rule in the css box there?

Not sure why the smart menu would have change things, but your menu has the ID

#extra-x1-x

So change the rule to use that ID

@media only screen and (min-width:768px) and (max-width:960px) {

#extra-x1-x a {font-size:.75em !important;}

.is-desktop #wrapper {margin-top:50px;}

}

Or better so it always work

@media only screen and (min-width:768px) and (max-width:960px) {

#inject_fixedtop .menu-extra a {font-size:.75em !important;}

.is-desktop #wrapper {margin-top:50px;}

}
