Live preview vs activated

I am new to Weaver Xtreme, but not to WP. I need to upgrade WP to the latest php version but the current Weaver theme (2.2.9) doesn’t support this version

I customize the menu. the live preview shows the menu positioned below the header image and the few menu items I want are listed and background colors are correctly adjusted.

I publish and the menu goes above the header image and includes a lot more items in the menu and the background colors are wrong.

The live preview presents the content centered in the middle of the screen the published version has the header image going all the way across the screen

The static home page is uses the template “pages with posts” yet no posts show up when I publish (nor on the live preview)

Can you please let us have a site URL if that is possible, so we can have a look.  If needed you may make your reply Private (click below).

What PHP version are you wanting to update to?   FYI, Weaver Xtreme states the minimum PHP needed for correct operation, and does not mention a maximum.

Finally, please note that the current Weaver Xtreme is Version 6.7.

Where do you get the 2.2.9 from?

2.2.9 was there when I started working on the site. No idea when “they” got it.

I’ll be updated PHP to whatever the latest version is. I had asked before if Weaver Xtreme worked with PHP 7.4.33.12 and was told it did.

What version of WordPress are you using, for you won’t be able update Weaver Xtreme without updating WordPress also?

Wordpress version is 6.9.4

The whold Weaver Xtreme suite has been updated and is due to be released any day now.

I believe that update will resolve all your issues and will certainly work with the latest PHP version available to you.

Perhaps @Weaver can let us know the expected release date.

That site is using the VERY old Weaver theme, and it will now longer work, might even crash the site.

I have 7.4.33.12 – will it work??

Different versions – The update plugin is also old – and the 4.9.29 is the WordPress version. Still works with 6.9, but I did not update the version recently.

It should be compatible with newer versions of PHP – which you have 7.4.33.12 it seems.
