limit rows of show posts plugin

I’m using Weaver Xtreme, Xtreme Plus and the Weaver show posts plugin to display posts on a home page. I can control the columns to 3 as needed, but I only want to show the most recent 3 posts – that is, just one line of 3 posts. How do I limit the display to only one row, or only the 3 most recent posts?

I tried placing the Latest Blog widget which allows this control on the page, but it only provides links, not contents.

If you are using Weaver Show post, it has an option in the filter options to do that.

Filter > Basic Options > Number of posts to show

Many thanks… I was looking for rows, not numeric limits.

The good news is – Weaver themes do everything. The bad news is – Weaver themes do everything!!!

The biggest job is finding where the knob or lever you need is located. Not complaining —  I’ve been using Weaver themes almost since they began, and although each release is more logical and easier to use, I really could use an index of commands that points to the right setting in the right menu. Would be a bear to create and maintain, I’m sure…
