Are you able to upload one of the problematic file on another site? No, same issue on my three weavev xtreme sites

Are you uploading them from your computer or somewhere else? From my computer but I just tried from my Iphone and it doesn’t work

Have you tried uploading using the Audio Block? Yes but same issue

Are you having the issue uploading the file into the media library or directly in content? Both and same issue

No problem downloading the file then uploading it in my media library….

Then no issue adding it in an audio block and playing it on page

So that seems to rule out the file.

If you can upload it too, does that mean the issue can only be a server issue ?

No problem uploading in media library, adding to an audio block and playing from the created page….

And you have no problem uploading images or videos?

@scrambler, if you don’t mind, I continue in french which is very easier to me as my english is so bad !

Je viens de faire des essais avec les différentes sortes de fichiers que j’ai l’habitude d’uploader sur mes sites. Il apparaît que les seuls fichiers qui passent jusqu’à la limite wordpress de 64 Mo sont les fichiers .wav. Pour tous les autres (.pdf, jpg., mp4), les fichiers plus légers passent (jusqu’à 20 Mo pour les .pdf, jusqu’à 10 Mo pour les .jpg ou les .mp4, 5/5 Mo pour les .mp3. Il semble donc que le problème est un manque de ressources côté serveur. J’ai downloadé un fichier que j’avais uploadé sur le site il y a quelques mois et tenté de l’uploader de nouveau et ça ne fonctionne pas !
Je vais donc questionner mon hébergeur
En tous cas merci beaucoup pour votre aide. Je reviendrai vers vous si nécessaire

FYI my memory settings on my main site are similar except for:

WP Memory Limit: 1024M
Local Memory Limit: 2048M

I increased them a few months ago as I also was getting unusual and occasional Error Messages.

Not that I think it is the issue, but your server memory (256M) limit is still below ours (512M /1024M), so worth increasing that again…

You may have to ask your provider to do it.

And if file size is the source of the problem, they should be able to provide help with the resolution.

My host resolved the issue (but don’t explain why it worked before). Here his answer :
