Is there a setting to change the default text in the Search box?

It says “Search…”. I would like it to say “Search site…”.

I dont think it can be changed easily. @weaver would have to confirm.

But dont see one for the text in the search box. Any way to customize that?

This can only be done by creating a child theme and adding a searchform.php to the child.
